Carolyn Ann Refford, daughter of Harold and Eugenie Resser. Sister of late Harold, Janine and Glenn. Mother to Freddy, Sam, Amy, Bobbi Jo, and beloved BooBoo. Nana to Tim, Tyler, Titus, and Sammy IV. Wife to Lloyd Albert Refford JR.
She was a long-time resident of Coatesville and Parkesburg and then she lived in Thorndale for many years before moving to Narvon. Her sister Janine and nieces still reside in Chester County.
As we gather to say goodbye until our next visit, we should hold the memories that inspire smiles and laughter nearest our hearts, and know any suffering is just a mere brushstroke on the infinite canvas that is Carolyn’s journey.
Carolyn’s interests and passions often overlapped due to them involving family and friends which in her eyes were one in the same. Carolyn enjoyed boating, fishing, being at the beach or poolside. She loved traveling with her husband. At home Carolyn was a wonderful decorator, between visits; guests would never have the same visual. She relaxed with gardening, and the plant life and flowers that would create a landscape that put a soul at ease. Carolyn loved all her children dearly, and sacrificed whatever necessary to assure their happiness and safety. Her grandchildren added a new level of joy to her heart and soul, and the hugs and kisses were endless. At the end of everyday Carolyn loved being in the arms of her one true sweetheart, her loving husband Lloyd. She was and will be his angel. We love you, and you will be missed dearly.
