Former DA Carroll new chair of Coatesville Savings Bank

COATESVILLE — Coatesville Savings Bank (CSBank) has announced that Joseph Carroll has been named Chairman of the Board as part of its annual reorganization meeting.

A Board member since 2013, Mr. Carroll is a resident of West Chester and former Chester County District Attorney. He has served in multiple functions within the District Attorney’s Office and started his legal career as an Associate Trial Lawyer in private practice. He is very active in local organizations and provides an added level of independence to Chairman’s role at the Bank.

Frederick P. Henrich who held both the Chairman and President positions since 2013, will remain the Bank’s President, a role he has been serving since June 2009. A resident of Berks County, Mr. Henrich has been in banking for over 30 years. He is a past president of the Berks County Chapter of the American Institute of Banking, and is also an Executive Committee member of the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers.

As part of the reorganization meeting, John Forese, Henrich, and M. Joye Wentz were elected to serve three-year terms as Board members. Other members of the Board of Trustees include Ronald Hughes, John Pinno, Robert Hennessy, Larry Constable, and Thomas Greenfield.

Coatesville Savings Bank is a $200 million bank headquartered in the city with offices in Oxford, New Holland, and Georgetown. It was founded in 1919 and employs 36 people. The ank provides personal and commercial banking products and services including business loans, home equity loans, residential mortgages, checking, savings, and certificate accounts, Internet banking services, mobile banking, and Remote Deposit Capture services.
