COATESVILLE — Police are seeking information about about a shooting Thursday afternoon on the 300 block of Walnut Street that left a man seriously wounded.
Police said that Lamont Wilson, 34, walked into the city’s police headquarters — just a couple of blocked from where the shooting appears to have taken place — suffering from multiple gunshot wounds at 4:50 p.m. Thursday. He was immediately transported to Paoli Hospital and then airlifted to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
Police are looking for “multiple” young black males reportedly seen running from the area of the shooting.
