COATESVILLE — City police are seeking two men thought to be responsible for shooting and wounding a city man Monday.
Police said they were called to a report of a shooting at South 6th Avenue and said they found the victim, Justin Lamar Humphrey, had been shot in what police described as “a lower extremity.” Humphrey was transported to Paoli Hospital where he was treated for his wounds and released.
Police said Humphrey described the shooters as two black men in their late teens or early 20s, both 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 in height, dressed in black. Humphrey told police one of the two men had a black semi-automatic handgun, and that the two may have been trying to rob him.
