WEST CHESTER — Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan announced the hiring of new Assistant District Attorney Chad Maloney, Monday.
Maloney joins the Chester County District Attorney’s Office from U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as a military prosecutor.
“The District Attorney’s Office is proud to add Chad Maloney,” Hogan said in a statement. “As a member of the United States Marine Corps and a military prosecutor, he already has established his commitment to public service and protecting our country. As an Assistant District Attorney for Chester County, he will continue to uphold those ideals.”
Maloney received his undergraduate degree from Dickinson College and his law degree from Temple University Law School. Maloney recently separated from the United States Marine Corps where he achieved the rank of Captain and served as the lead prosecutor for the Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego, California.
Maloney was sworn in by the Hon. Thomas Gavin of the Chester County Court of Common Pleas. Judge Gavin is also a veteran and Marine Corps officer.
