COATESVILLE — Police are investigating a series of thefts from cars in the overnight period Wednesday into Thursday on the city’s West Side.
Police said an individual or individuals smashed the passenger-side windows of “several” cars parked on the street with “items of value” in plain view.
Residents are also reminded to lock their vehicles and be on the lookout for suspicious behavior.
While police continue to investigate, they ask city residents to make sure to either remove all items of value from their cars or secure them out of view. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 610-384-2300 or use the departments “Tips411” app.
