DOWNINGTOWN — Food and music from the School of Rock will fill the Armour Alley Pocket Plaza on Saturday, Aug. 9 as part of the borough’s Swingin’ Summer Saturday.
“This event will give everyone a chance to explore Downingtown’s wonderful main street,” said Downingtown Main Street Association President Adrian Martinez. “Downingtown has wonderful restaurants and shops. There is no better way to spend a summer’s evening than being entertained and eating great food.”
Armour Alley Pocket Plaza is located in the 100 block of East Lancaster Avenue. The event will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. The School of Rock will supply the music.
Food will be offered by Victory Brewing Company, Pat’s Pizza, and Margo’s Old Fashioned Ice Cream. Funnel cake and other treats will be available.
