Sign stolen last month has reportedly been returned
The alleged thief who made off with a Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department’s Safepace 100 Speed Radar Sign may not have liked being on investigators’ radar, police said.
The department said the yellow sign that was stolen sometime between April 22 and April 30 from a signpost in East Goshen Township has been returned, shortly after the theft had been publicized. Police said an officer on patrol made the discovery.
The sign, which featured a digital speed display, was returned to where it had been taken: the intersection of Barker Drive and High Meadow Lane in the Marydell Farms development, police said.
