Charges indicate female juvenile victim was unconscious at time
A pair of East Nantmeal Township residents face rape charges, state police from the Embreeville barracks said Wednesday in a news release.
Investigators concluded that William A. Collins, 20, and Kyle C. McCabe, 19, sexually assaulted a juvenile female on Dec. 8 about midnight, the release said. The two were arraigned and taken to Chester County Prison after failing to post $250,000 cash bail, court records said. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 19, court records said.
The charges against Collins and McCabe include rape of an unconscious person and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of an unconscious person, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and multiple, related offenses, court records said.
