imagesA 24-year-old West Chester man faces child pornography charges, state police said in a news release.

Justin E. Gold was arraigned on Friday, Dec. 6, on 502 felony counts,  including possession and dissemination of child pornography, police said.

In September, members of the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Central Computer Task Force  suspected Gold was viewing and sharing illicit material, the release said. Troopers executed a search warrant on Gold’s home and seized his computer on Nov. 15, discovering digital images and videos, the release said.

Magisterial District Judge John R. Bailey set bail at 10 percent of $50,000, and Gold, who is represented by attorney Robert J. Donatoni, was released, the release said. Gold waived his right to a preliminary hearing, the release said, and is awaiting trial in Chester County Court.
