West Goshen Township Police said Stacy Roth used a credit card she stole from her daughter’s day-care provider.

A West Goshen Township woman was arrested after police traced her to an allegedly stolen credit card.

Police said Stacy L. Roth, 38, was taken into custody after she used a credit card stolen from her children’s day-care provider. Police said she used the card at the BP gas station on West Chester Pike and attempted to use it again at the Target store in East Whiteland Township.  Roth admitted pilfering the card and using it until it was deactivated, police said. Charges are pending in district court, police said.

West Whiteland Township Police reported that a Remington shotgun was stolen from an unlocked pickup truck in the 1000 block of Cedarwood Avenue overnight from Tuesday  through Wednesday.

Police said the owner left the gun on the seat under some clothing and found it missing in the morning.  He drove the truck from the scene and reported the theft by phone later on.  The neighborhood was canvassed but no leads have been developed, police said.
