COATESVILLE — The mother of an eight-year-old girl who died in a car accident in 2015 faces charges of homicide by motor vehicle, police said.
City police said that Jennifer Trego had marijuana and an unprescribed prescription medication in her system when she was involved in a crash at Rt. 82 and Wagontown Road on Aug. 13, 2015. Police said she also had a suspended drivers license and no insurance at the time of the crash.
Trego surrendered to police Friday at the city police station. She was arraigned by District Justice Grover Koon and released on bail. She faces an August preliminary hearing in the case.
