One person was killed and three others injured in a multi-vehicle accident in the westbound lane of Route 30 east of Reeceville Road, Friday night.
State Police said that four vehicles were involved, one person was declared dead at the scene, while two others with what were termed “serious injuries” to Paoli Hospital, while one other with what were termed “moderate injuries” were transported to nearby Brandywine Hospital.
The identity of the injured and deceased were not released, pending notification of family.
The State Police were assisted on the scene by police officers from Caln, Downingtown and West Brandywine. Fire companies from Thorndale, Alert Fire Co., and Wagontown responded to the scene. EMS from Washington Hose, Minquas, Modena, and Uwchlan all responded to the scene of the incident.
