Volunteers prep for UHS AfterProm

UGSAfterProm

It is time for the annual Unionville High School After Prom — an event designed to keep prom attendees safe and entertained following the big night. One of the top incentives for students to attend: a drawing to win a car, donated by Scott Honda of Westtown. This year’s car was deleivered Monday and presented to the Unionville High School PTO. Public walk-through planned for Saturday evening

EAST MARLBOROUGH — If you see a Honda parked on the lawn of Unionville High School, it can mean just one thing: it’s time for the annual AfterProm event put on by the school’s PTO and a troop of hearty volunteers.

And as has been the case for the last several years, Scott Honda of Westtown, donates a car to be used as one of a number of prizes for students attending the event — designed to keep prom attendees safe and secure following their prom, this Saturday night. The event runs all night — and while each year’s theme is a closely guarded secret — and provides fun, food and entertainment for students all night following the prom.

There will be a public walk through of the preparations at the high school, Saturday between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. — an opportunity for the public to see all of the hard work and passion shown by a dedicated group of Unionville High School parents.
