Authorities said he gained entry by smashing front doors
Authorities said he was not seeking a trim or blow-dry when he smashed the front door of the Platinum Hair Salon in West Goshen Township at 2:42 a.m. on Wednesday.
Instead, Jeffrey S. Tenaglio, 54, of West Chester, was captured on store surveillance entering the building in the 100 block of Turner Lane, looking for money in the business before fleeing, said West Goshen Township Police.
Tenaglio was taken in to custody without incident and charged with burglary, receiving stolen property, possessing an instrument of crime, and related offenses, police said. He was arraigned, unable to post $25,000 cash bail, and transported to Chester County Prison to await a preliminary hearing on July 2, court records said.
Police said Tenaglio is also being charged with two counts of burglary and related offenses in Newtown Township, Delaware County. After Tenaglio’s information and picture was shared with authorities there, they identifyied Tenaglio on video smashing front doors and entering two Newtown hair salons.
