A call for category entries – amateurs, restaurants and students: Brownies, cakes, cupcakes, cookies & candies are all a part of the competitive fun
KENNETT SQUARE – It’s nearly February and that means the extremely popular Kennett Chocolate Lover’s Festival is almost here, and the United Way of Southern Chester County (UWSCC) needs YOU! On Sunday February 21st,, Kennett High School will transform into a chocolate lover’s paradise as contestants vie for awards in the following categories: professionals, amateurs and students (ages 12 and up). Last year over 200 entries were available for tasting by the public and the smell of chocolate permeated the air!

Hundreds of chocolate treats, including cakes, brownies, candies, cookies and cupcakes will be available for attendees to taste at this Festival benefiting UWSCC. Bring your family and friends for a fun day sampling as many chocolate delights as you wish – chocoholics of all ages welcome!
UWSCC is also hosting a very special wine and chocolate evening to celebrate all things chocolate while raising funds for our community. Indulge in artisan chocolates made by area chefs, paired with local wines and craft beers, in a unique Chester County location. Last year’s party was a sellout, so do not miss this fun event!
UWSCC serves the residents of four Pennsylvania school districts: Avon Grove, Kennett, Oxford, and Unionville – Chadds Ford. Over 30 different health and human service programs receive support from UWSCC. Last year, one in seven of our neighbors in southern Chester County turned to United Way-funded programs for help.
