Eagles name CASH’s Turnbull All-Pro Teacher

James E. Turnbull, a teacher at Coatesville Area Senior High School was named as an All-Pro Teacher by The Philadelphia Eagles and Axalta Coating Systems.

PHILADELPHIA — A Coatesville Area Senior High School teacher has been honored as an All-Pro Teacher by the Philadelphia Eagles and Axalta Coating Systems.

James E. Turnbull was honored at Sunday’s Eagles game.In recognition, Turnbull was given $1,000 donation to his school, four tickets to Sunday’s game against Buffalo, a personalized Eagles’ jersey and a nomination for the Teacher of The Year Award.

The All-Pro Teacher program represents the first partnership between Philadelphia-based Axalta and the NFL. It is a brand new program that will honor 6th through 12th grade teachers for their hard work and dedication to the children of the Delaware Valley area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

We are also thrilled about the All-Pro Teachers program and the opportunity to recognize the dedicated work of teachers through the Philadelphia region.”

A teacher can be nominated by any person with a direct relationship to him or her – students, principals, teachers, family members and friends – by visiting www.philadelphiaeagles.com/allproteachers. Ten teachers will then be chosen by a selection committee based on educational drive, innovation in the classroom and community ownership.  Each All-Pro Teacher will receive a $1,000 grant donated to his or her school in an effort to further develop its programs and resources. They will also receive tickets to an Eagles game, a personalized Eagles jersey and an invitation to a Breakfast Awards ceremony later in the year. At this event, one teacher will be selected as the All-Pro Teacher of the Year and will receive an additional $10,000 in grant money and an Eagles pep rally to be performed at his or her school.
