COATESVILLE — Harrison House of Chester County, a member of Harrison Senior Living, recognized 30 years serving the Coatesville area senior population at a special early evening event held Thursday, Sept. 18.

Refreshments, music and giveaways were offered at the community’s majestic hilltop Strode Avenue location where they specialize in independent living and personal care accommodations and services.

Founder Dr. James P. Harrison commended administrative, culinary and nursing staff. He thanked his team for providing what he termed “an energized community” and noted, “There’s always something going on all of the time.”

Harrison presented a special gift to 30-year-employee  Pat Reymos, front office manager since July 18, 1984. He explained how Reymos was literally the community’s first employee even before they officially opened their doors.

“Pat makes all of our lives easier,” he said.

The Harrison Senior Living founder briefly acknowledged plans for future expansion on the 15-acre site, which, as he said, “we’re always improving.”

A raffle resulted in a gift basket won by Felicia D. Benson with Always Best Care Senior Services.
