Public can help celebrate National Robotics Week

Chester County Library is hosting informational program on April 10

image001The Chester County Library is inviting the public to celebrate National Robotics Week from April 5-15.

The library will host a presentation of the FIRST (For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) robotics programs and a Q&A session on Thursday, April 10, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Struble Room of the Chester County Library in Exton, a library news release said.

Presented by FIRST TECH Challenge Team 7244 – Out of the Box Robotics, and the library, the evening will showcase programs ranging from age 6 18 years. The FIRST mission is to show students of every age that science, technology, and problem-solving are not only fun and rewarding, but are proven paths to successful careers, the release said.

Meet students in the community who are exploring science, technology and engineering by building innovative robots. The program will include demonstrations and an information session.
