Police: Coatesville teen struck by stray bullet

14-year-old boy reportedly sustains non-life-threatening injuries

IMG_0486A 14-year-old boy who went to the second-floor window of his Regency Park apartment after hearing gunshots at 4:46 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, was struck in the abdomen by a bullet, Coatesville Police said.

The teen was rushed to Paoli Hospital, where he is reported in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.  Investigators canvassing the area found several casings in the parking lot of the 400 building on Victoria Drive, police said, adding that the teen lived in the nearby 500 building.
