Chadds Ford Elementary School is excited to host its 75th Annual Art Show and Sale, and with such a momentous occasion come key changes that will enhance patron, artist, and volunteer experiences. Such changes include a shift to a one-day event on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 10:00am-5:00pm and the opportunity for patrons to purchase art, jewelry, wooden items, glass designs, and pottery directly from the artists, creating a speedier check-out process. This will also be a unique opportunity to meet the artists and to discuss their work. There is no admission fee for this event, and all ages are welcome to attend.
To commemorate our 75th year, we will shift from our tradition of a single featured artist to a ‘Diamond Showcase’, an on-stage display honoring featured artists from the past 30 years and the rich history of the event itself. There will be a mid-day presentation recognizing the work of our Diamond Showcase artists as well as the history behind the show.
Patrons should note that each artist will control their own payment process. While some artists may offer various payment options, such as credit card, Venmo, or Apple Pay, all artists will accept cash or personal checks. The Chadds Ford PTO suggests bringing a checkbook to not miss an opportunity to purchase a one-of-a-kind piece of art.
We will also feature a raffle table of all donated pieces of art by our artists.
