HERSHEY — Two Unionville High School cross country runners, Ethan McIntyre and Cole Walker took home top-five finishes in the state PIAA Cross Country meet, Saturday.
McIntyre, a junior of Unionville, took third place and Walker, a senior, took fourth place in PIAA AAA State Cross Country Championships on Saturday. These were the highest District 1 performances of the day, and the top first-second duo of all teams at the meet.
The race consisted of 228 runners–19 teams that qualified and 95 qualifying individuals not on a team that qualified.
