Opening reception set for Friday at Chadds Ford Gallery
The Chadds Ford Gallery will open “Scarborough Fair – Four Seasons,” a presentation of recent works by artist Paul Scarborough, with a free reception on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
A lover of nature with a sharp eye for the unusual, Scarborough has been represented by the gallery since 1976. His favorite subjects range from rustic barns and resident wildlife indigenous to the Pennsylvania counties of Chester and Delaware, to Rehoboth Beach and fishing haunts he revisits on the Delaware Bay.
Scarborough has exhibited widely on the East Coast in one-man and group exhibits, and his work is found in many public and private collections here and abroad, including educational, hospital and corporate collections of PNC Bank, Wilmington Trust Co., Blue Cross of Delaware and the parent company of Benjamin F. Shaw.
Located at 1609 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford Gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. For more information, call 610-388-2412 or visit www.awyethgallery.com. The Scarborough exhibit will continue through Oct. 27.
