COATESVILLE — A city man was shot to death in the early morning hours, Sunday, in the area of South 4th Avenue and Maple Avenue, police said.
Jamar Parker, 36, was found lying in the middle of the intersection with gunshot wounds at about 1 a.m. Responding police administered first aid to the victim before transport to Brandywine Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m.
Assisting at the scene were the following agencies: Chester County Detectives, West Caln, West Brandywine, Caln, East Fallowfield police departments, and Coatesville Fire & Ambulance.
