The Downingtown-Thorndale Regional Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Pepperidge Farm and Task Management, Inc. to bring quality jobs to the Downingtown-Thorndale region.
A job fair, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Wednesday, March 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Downingtown-Thorndale Regional Chamber of Commerce office, located at 216 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. The Chamber office is located in the Dane Décor building.
“We are excited to host this job fair for our community and to partner with Pepperidge Farm, a long-time Chamber member,” said Michael Glover, Chamber President.
Downingtown’s Pepperidge Farm location needs to fill about 40 to 50 positions for 1st and 2nd shift plant production, along with 3rd shift sanitation.
Preferred candidates will have experience in the areas of food production, conveyer belt, machine operations/machine cleaning, blending, lifting, mixing, food tech, or general warehouse or sanitation. Those without experience are also encouraged to apply. Reliable hard working individuals, ready for a challenge and a successful career in food manufacturing are being sought. A high School diploma or GED is required and candidates must pass a background check and a drug screen.
Interested candidates are encouraged to attend the job fair. Pre-registration is not required. Those attending should be prepared to complete a brief background/job history form, followed by an interview.
