Lauren Capaldo, who joined Gawthrop Greenwood in July, concentrates her law practice in general litigation.

A West Chester law firm has announced a new associate. Lauren Capaldo, who joined Gawthrop Greenwood PC in July and concentrates her practice in general litigation, is now an associate with the firm, according to a news release.

Prior to joining Gawthrop Greenwood, Capaldo worked as a law clerk for Chester County Court Judge William P. Mahon.

Capaldo received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Bucknell University, where she majored in economics and Spanish. She received her law degree from Villanova University, where she worked with both the Civil Justice Clinic and Farmworker Legal Aid Clinic and was a member of the Moot Court team and the Moot Court Board.

In addition to working at Gawthrop Greenwood,  Capaldo is also currently working with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Pennsylvania Suggested Standard Civil Jury Instructions Committee in the updating, researching and writing of the Civil Jury Instructions annotated notes.

Capaldo, a Nether Providence resident who is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, is a member of the Chester County Bar Association and the Brandywine Health Foundation Garden Party Committee.
