Authorities have one message for the man sought across the region for the brutal slaying of a teenage girl in an apparent road rage incident on Route 100 Thursday evening: turn yourself in, or authorities will find you.

West Goshen police circulated a composite drawing of the man, thought to be in his 30s or 40s with blond hair and a medium build. He was seen driving a faded red mid-size pick up, thought to be a Chevy, at the time of the incident.

According to police, a merging dispute between the gunman and his victim, 18-year-old Bianca Nikol Roberson, escalated quickly, with the gunman pulling out a gun and shooting the young woman in the head, just weeks after she graduated from West Chester Rustin High School. Her car was found, crashed to the side of the road — in what authorities initially thought was an accident.

A traffic cam shot shows the red pickup driving side by side with Bianca Roberson’s green Chevy Malibu at lower left.

Police said the gunman fled up the shoulder of Rt. 100, onto US 202 and then exited onto Paoli Pike. Traffic cameras and eyewitness accounts are helping police track his movements after the incident.

Meanwhile, friends and family ofthe victim gathered Friday evening for a vigil at the family’s West Chester home.

The West Goshen Police, as well as the Chester County District Attorney’s Office is handling the investigation — with law enforcement agencies across the country on the look out for the gunman.

Anyone with information can also contact the West Goshen Police Department directly at 610-696-7400 or via email at
