To The Editor,
We need State Representative Warren Kampf now more than ever, we need his fiscal discipline, we need his continued work to cut wasteful government spending and we need his leadership on budget priorities that match what his constituents want. While we need him now, we should all be happy that he was there for us the last two years when there was a proposal to raise the income tax by 20% and the PA sales tax by 10%. We told him to defeat these historic increases and he did. He stood strong for families and seniors and made sure no tax increase was enacted!
We need State Representative Warren Kampf because he has supported budgets that focus on education – passing four consecutive budgets that have set new record levels of funding for our schools. He supported more money for our seniors, our veterans, for rape crisis centers and for domestic abuse shelters. He supported the state’s record investment in combatting the opioid epidemic. He found ways to include all of this in the in budget WITHOUT raising taxes. He has made government work more effectively and efficiently by cutting wasteful spending and freeing up money to allow the state to invest in what we really need.
The choice this election is easy. I will choose the State Representative with the record of fiscal discipline over the candidate with no record who is supported by those who would raise our taxes.
I will be voting for State Representative Warren Kampf and I hope you will too. We need him.
