COATESVILLE — A South Carolina man was gunned down on Belmont Street Monday night, just after 6:30 p.m. and later died of his wounds — the fourth person to die from gunshot wounds in the city in the last week.
Kevin Paul Jalbert, 36, was found by police in the middle of the 600 block of Belmont Street, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Paoli Hospital where he later died.
This incident, as well as last week’s homicides, remain under investigation — and police say they believe there were multiple witnesses to this latest shooting.
