Second gun homicide in two days reported in Coatesville

cpdCOATESVILLE — A city man was found with what turned out to be fatal gun wounds in the area of Modena Alley and Willow Alley early Thursday morning.

Police said that Damon Wylie, 50, was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Paoli Hospital, where he later died.

This marks the second straight day with a gun-related homicide in the city. Wednesday, two men were found shot — one dead at the scene, the other died at Paoli Hospital — in an East Lincoln Highway apartment.

At this point, police say they are unsure whether the killings were related, but the investigation is ongoing.
