Coatesville police seek man wanted in shooting

PoliceTapeCOATESVILLE — City police are looking for a man they say shot and gravely wounded another man Saturday evening on West Harmony Street.

Police responded to the 300 block of West Harmony Street, at the report of a shooting. There they found the victim, a man in his 30s, suffering from a “life threatening” gun shot wound. The victim was transported to Paoli Hospital.

After a preliminary investigation, witnesses identified the shooter as having the nickname “Boston.”

Police are seeking the whereabouts of Jeremiah Mark “Boston” Holmes, 30, who is thought to have been the shooter and has been charged with Attempted Homicide and is currently at large.

Anyone with information about the incident or Homes’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Coatesville Police Detective Unit, specifically, Cpl. Shawn Dowds.
