COATESVILLE — To provide community members with an update on Coatesville revitalization efforts, Rep. Harry Lewis Jr. (R-Chester) will be hosting a Coatesville City Chat with a panel of local officials. The event will be held on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 6-8 p.m. at the Coatesville Area Senior Center, 250 Harmony St., Coatesville.

“For many years, we have appreciated living in this vibrant community. Work is being done to preserve the many characteristics that we love about the area, and I invite you to learn more,” Lewis said. “This is such a special city, and with maintenance that is being done now, many generations to come will also be able to enjoy it.”

Light refreshments will be served. RSVPs are not required but highly suggested. Please call Lewis’s office in Downingtown at (610) 269-1289 to RSVP or with questions.

“I dedicated my life and career of more than 40 years to this great city, and I am proud that Coatesville is my hometown,” Lewis added. “We have waited for this time of revitalization, which is crucial for the future of Coatesville and Chester County. Now positive change is taking hold in the city, and it is amazing to experience.”
