COATESVILLE — Alfred Hogue, sought in relation to a shooting on Coates Street on June 13, turned himself in to city police Wednesday.

He was arraigned by District Justice Grover Koon and remanded to Chester County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.

Hogue was sought along with another man, Kervin Crawford, following a early shooting involving two others, including another city man, Jay Jackson, who was shot in the leg, police said.

Both Hogue and Crawford, who police reports suggest fired the gun, had been facing attempted murder charges. Police did not offer an update on the status of Crawford or his whereabouts.

Anyone with additional information about the incident is asked to contact city police.
