Cooperating Collection Provides Resources for Local Grant seekers
EXTON – The Chester County Library has become a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center of New York, offering a new collection of funding resources for nonprofit organizations and other grant seekers in Chester County.
The Chester County Cooperating Collections offer free access to the Foundation Center’s detailed information on grant makers and how to apply for grants. The Foundation Center’s core collection includes The Foundation Directory Online, profiling more than 100,000 U.S. grant makers.
It also offers the Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, Philanthropy In/Sight, print directories, and proposal writing guides. The Chester County Library will also hold training sessions beginning this fall on how to use these resources.
