COATESVILLE — Police are seeking information about a burglary that was apparently stopped in the middle when a city homeowner returned to her Walnut Street home, Wednesday.
Police said a woman reported returning home after taking her children to school just after 9 a.m. Wednesday and discovered a man in her home. The woman reportedly told police that the man grabbed her by the throat and attempted to choke her. The assailant is described as about 5-foot-6, 150 pounds and a light complexioned black male.
The victim told police she thought there was more than one person in her home. No injuries were reported, police said.
