Registration for the event at Whitford Country Club begins at 11:00 a.m. with golfing beginning at 12:30 p.m. A dinner, auction, raffles and entertainment by STEM students will follow at 6:00 p.m. and all non-golfers are welcome to for dinner.

Over the past 4 years, the FORE the KIDS golf outing has contributed approximately $100,000 to the school’s “FORE the KIDS” fund, raising more than $25,000 each year. “We have tremendous sponsorship support this year from local companies such as GE ENERGY, the H.O. West Foundation – Supported by West Pharmaceutical Services and Trevena Inc.   With this support – and the efforts of STEM Academy parent volunteers, teachers and students – we hope to match, or even exceed, the $25,000 annual amount,” said Art Campbell, Headmaster of the STEM Academy.

The STEM Academy is Downingtown Area School District’s third high school and is the first high school in the nation to offer an International Baccalaureate Diploma program with Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) pathways.
