COATESVILLE — A Philadelphia man attending Lincoln University was shot to death Saturday night after he and a companion were robbed by three masked men, city police said.
Christopher Robinson, 22, was reported killed at South Fifth Avenue and Olive Street during an alleged robbery. A city man, Evander Wilson, 24, is charged with coordinating a conspiracy to rob Robinson and another man. Authorities said that Wilson drove Robinson and the other unnamed victim to Coatesville.
Once there, the two victims were allegedly robbed by Wilson and three other, masked men. It is unclear what happened, police said, but in the course of the robbery, Robinson was shot in the neck and died from his wounds.
Although the investigation is ongoing, Wilson has been charged with second degree homicide, robbery, conspiracy, and related charges, police said.
