KENNETT TOWNSHIPÂ – The East Penn Railroad will close Route 52 (Kennett Pike) between Pond View Drive and Burrow Run Road in Kennett Township, Chester County from 6:00 PM Friday, November 13, to 5:00 Monday, November 16, for the replacement of a railroad crossing, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.
During the weekend operation, Route 52 (Kennett Pike) through traffic will be detoured over Hillendale Road and Burrow Run Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.
