The family of a missing 14-year-old girl is pleading for the public’s help to locate her, Coatesville police said Thursday.

Police said Tiffany McDaniels, who was reported missing on Saturday from her home in the unit block of South Eighth Avenue, was last seen Friday about 4 p.m.  Coatesville Det. Ryan Wright said police traveled to Philadelphia looking for her because her father resides there but came up empty. “She’s not in trouble,” Wright stressed. “And if she needs help, we’ll provide it.”

Wright said the girl, who has no medical issues, does have a recent history of running away, and police are concerned that so much time has elapsed since any contact with her. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 610-384-2300.
