The event, held at all Brandywine Valley SPCA locations and 9 other area shelter partners across 4 states, brought in families from across the region who adopted a total of 579 dogs, 560 cats, and 2 other animals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is BVSPCA\u2019s fifteenth Mega Adoption Event in partnership with national non-profit Petco Love, BOBS from Skechers\u00ae, and co-sponsored by Discover. These events have found homes for nearly 16,000 animals over 8 years. Adopted animals ranged from puppies and kittens to seniors and long-time shelter residents across all BVSPCA campuses and partner shelters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhat an amazing two days for pets in need. So many families came out to give these great companions a second chance and not just at our campuses, but to all the partners who joined our cause,\u201d said Adam Lamb, BVSPCA Chief Executive Officer. \u201cUpdates from families are flooding in, sharing their new cat or dog\u2019s first hours at home, and their stories of how this has changed their lives too.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The BVSPCA hosted the Mega Adoption Event at BVSPCA locations in West Chester, Plymouth Meeting, New Castle, Dover, Georgetown, and at the Animal Rescue Center.
