\"IMG_0309\"<\/a>A 19-year-old Oxford man was lured to an area of East Nottingham Township, where three teens robbed him and then crushed him with their truck as they fled, said state police from the Avondale barracks.<\/p>\n

Police said Benjamin Deasey, 19, of Cochranville, and two 16-year-old males, both from Oxford, \u00a0were responsible for the death of Anthony M. Rody-Prieto on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Police said the defendants lured Deasey to Oxford Road and Duck Farm Lane at 7:25 p.m. under the pretense of buying something they never intended to purchase.<\/p>\n

Police said the accused committed the robbery and accelerated from the scene in a dual-wheeled truck. Rody-Prieto grabbed onto the vehicle “in an effort to retain his merchandise” and fell underneath it, where he was fatally injured, police said.<\/p>\n

Deasey, who was charged with aggravated assault, robbery and related offenses, was transported to Chester County Prison after failing to post $300,000 bail; a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 30, court records said. The \u00a0juvenile defendants were not identified by police because of their age. Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said investigators were looking into the teens’ backgrounds to determine whether they should be charged as adults.<\/p>\n
