Born in Media PA, and formerly of Phoenixville and Pottstown, PA, Rachel has been an area resident for only a short time. She graduated from Strath Haven High School in Wallingford PA, and in 1998 graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in English.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel went on to work for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals as a Pharmaceutical Representative. She also enjoyed gardening, and loved her dogs August and Gooey. Rachel is survived by her mother Katharine (Bob) Schlosbon, sister Melissa (Bruce) Keller, niece Lea, and nephew Aiden. She is predeceased by her father John McCurdy.
