{"id":2998,"date":"2013-11-07T17:53:08","date_gmt":"2013-11-07T22:53:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chescotimes.com\/?p=2998"},"modified":"2013-11-07T17:53:08","modified_gmt":"2013-11-07T22:53:08","slug":"ex-principal-gets-2-years-for-kiddie-porn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chescotimes.com\/?p=2998","title":{"rendered":"Ex-principal gets 2 years for kiddie porn"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Prosecutors said he possessed more than 150 sexually explicit images<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/chescotimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/seal.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2999\" alt=\"seal\" src=\"http:\/\/chescotimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/seal.jpg\" width=\"297\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a>A 43-year-old Chester County resident and former middle-school principal was sentenced Thursday, Nov. 7, to 24 months in prison for possessing more than 150, but less than 300, images of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct, the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s Office said in a news release.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">At the time of the investigation, Troy Czukoski of Exton\u00a0was serving as principal of the Springton Lake Middle School in the Rose Tree Media School District in Delaware County.\u00a0 In addition to the prison term, U.S. District Court Judge Legrome D. Davis ordered 10 years of supervised release, a $10,000 fine, and a $100 special assessment.\u00a0 Czukoski must report to prison on Dec. 30, the release said.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><!--more-->Czukoski was identified through a website that sells child porn.\u00a0 Records from that website showed the Czukoski had made purchases from 2008 through 2011.\u00a0 A warrant was then executed on the defendant<span style=\"font-family: Wingdings;\">?<\/span>s home, at which point Czukoski confessed that he had purchased the pornographic content over the internet.\u00a0 Agents with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service found numerous CDs and DVDs, as well as two flash drives that contained images and video of child porn.
