Domingo Flores-Pajaro, 18, has been charged with robbery, burglary, and other offenses after allegedly abducting his 2-month-old son on Thursday, police said.<\/p><\/div>\n

An 18-year-old \u00a0mother who had her 2-month-old son wrenched from her care on Thursday in New Garden Township by her ex-boyfriend was reunited with the child several hours later, New Garden Township Police said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Police said they responded to the 9100 block of Gap Newport Pike for a domestic-related kidnapping at 6:33 p.m. The mother told police that she had moved out of the home in Newport, De., that she had shared with her ex-boyfriend, Domingo Flores-Pajaro, 18, after their relationship had deteriorated over several months, police said.<\/p>\n

The woman said that she went to her mother\u2019s home and that Flores-Pajaro followed her there and demanded entry, forcing his way past relatives trying to prevent him from entering, police said. \u00a0Flores-Pajaro said he was not leaving without his baby and grabbed the child from his grandmother\u2019s arms while the child\u2019s mother tried to call 9-1-1 only to have her cell phone ripped from her hand by Flores-Pajaro, police said.<\/p>\n

New Garden Police alerted Delaware law enforcement, the Chester County District Attorney\u2019s Office, and Chester County Detectives to aid in the investigation, police said. At 9:09 p.m., law enforcement coordinated the child\u2019s safe return with the cooperation of Fiores-Parajo, who was taken into custody without incident, police said.<\/p>\n

New Garden Township Police Chief Gerald R. Simpson said he was extremely grateful for the assistance of the other agencies. \u201cThe collaborative actions and dedication of these law enforcement professionals are the reason this family is reunited safe and sound,\u201d Simpson said.<\/i><\/p>\n

Flores-Parajo was arraigned on charges that include robbery, burglary, simple assault, and reckless endangerment and transported to Chester County Prison after failing to post \u00a0$15,000 cash bail, police said.<\/p>\n
