{"id":22872,"date":"2017-10-19T08:52:19","date_gmt":"2017-10-19T12:52:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chescotimes.com\/?p=22872"},"modified":"2017-10-19T08:52:20","modified_gmt":"2017-10-19T12:52:20","slug":"letter-donzes-experience-makes-the-difference-in-dj-race","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chescotimes.com\/?p=22872","title":{"rendered":"Letter: Donze&#8217;s experience makes the difference in DJ race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>To the Editor, \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/chescotimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Letters1-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5486\" src=\"http:\/\/chescotimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/Letters1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"140\" \/><\/a>I completely agree with Mike McGann\u2019s recent article, Mr. Iacocca is a very nice guy and community activist but we\u2019re looking to elect our next district justice and need to do so carefully.<\/p>\n<p>As a licensed attorney and registered Democrat, I\u2019m most concerned with putting the most qualified candidate on the bench. \u00a0Community activism should be applauded on all levels but in our district courts we need experience and a complete understanding of our complicated legal system. \u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Jane Donze\u2019s commitment to our community is also impressive but more importantly, she has dedicated her entire professional career to the practice of law and her understanding of our district court system makes it a clearer choice for me.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">When Mr. Iacocca passed the bar in 2008, Mrs. Donze had already been practicing for 21years. \u00a0Our local courts are more important than many of our residents may realize and it\u2019s hard to replace knowledge with good intent.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Leslie Mariani<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>East Marlborough<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To the Editor, \u00a0 I completely agree with Mike McGann\u2019s recent article, Mr. Iacocca is a very nice guy and community activist but we\u2019re looking to elect our next district justice and need to do so carefully.
