The projects will replace nearly 1,850 feet of aging pipe dating back to the 1940s, at a combined cost of approximately $400,000. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Starting this week, crews will install eight-inch ductile iron pipe along South 1<\/span><span class=\"s2\"><sup>st <\/sup><\/span><span class=\"s1\">Avenue between Oak Street and Modena Road.<\/span> <span class=\"s1\">Weather permitting, the water line installation, service connections and final paving restoration are expected to be completed by the end of July.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Construction is scheduled for weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Traffic restrictions will be in place during construction hours, and motorists are urged to give themselves extra time while traveling through the area or find alternate routes. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">During construction, customers might experience temporary water service interruptions, discolored water and\/or lower than normal water pressure.
