June 23, this year’s Community Day, will feature a day full of inventions<\/span><\/em><\/h1>\n

The Mini Maker Fair is a family-friendly event that will celebrate the Do-It-Yourself mentality and showcase a number of innovative projects.<\/p><\/div>\n

EXTON\u00a0<\/b>\u2014\u00a0The Chester County Library will host their 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0annual Community Day\u00a0on Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.\u00a0 This year\u2019s theme is a Mini Maker Fair.<\/p>\n

A Maker Fair is primarily designed to be forward-looking, showcasing makers who are exploring new forms and new technologies.\u00a0 Many makers are hobbyists, enthusiasts, or students, but they are also a wellspring of innovators, creating new products and producing value in the community.\u00a0 But the fair is not just for the novel in technical fields; it will also feature innovation and experimentation across the spectrum of science, engineering, art, performance and craft.<\/p>\n

The fair will include 3D printers, hands-on pottery demonstrations, lego robotics, aeroponic tower garden systems, drawbots, fragrance mixology, motorcycles, steam engines and even robots that shoot basketballs and throw frisbees.<\/p>\n

Additionally, there will be food and music. All ages are invited to attend this event.<\/p>\n
