Guests will enjoy hors d\u2019oeuvres catered by Jimmy Duffy and a taste of the bayou at the raw bar by George &amp; Sons. Philadelphia Distilling adds to the festivity by providing spirits and specialty cocktails. D. J. Frosty will play music guaranteed to have everyone leaping for a spot on the dance floor!<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The beautiful Yellow House at Willowdale transforms into Bourbon Street for the festivities. Most exciting are the high value items in this year\u2019s silent auction. Up for grabs will be a week in a beautiful house in Maui, a skybox at Dressage at Devon, a Bahamas vacation and shooting lessons. Happily you don\u2019t have to be a big spender to be a big winner at Willowdale; there will be many other great items up for auction in a variety of price ranges.<\/p>\n<p>The Mardi Gras Party is sponsored again this year in part by Wilmington Trust, an M&amp;T company. Wilmington Trust joins The Willowdale Steeplechase in support of our beneficiaries and their commitment to a strong and healthy community.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the party and The Willowdale Steeplechase races on Sunday May 15, 2016 are donated to its\u00a0beneficiaries: The Stroud Water Research Center, The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine\u2019s New Bolton Center and Quest Therapeutic Services.<\/p>\n<p>So grab your beads and your Mardi Gras masks and plan to attend the Willowdale Steeplechase Mardi Gras Auction and Cocktail Party on February 27.
