Projects range from St. Paul\u2019s Baptist Church members reading to children at the Oscar Lasko YMCA in downtown West Chester to the Helping the Homeless project in Kennett Square and making Valentine\u2019s cards for the sick in Jennersville. Activities at each branch represent a variety of ways to help improve life in Chester County and reflect the Y\u2019s mission. “We are proud to be a part of this nationally recognized day of service and excited to know that volunteers from across the county will be joining to help us with the work we do,\u201d Denise Day, CEO of the YMCA of Greater Brandywine.<\/p>\n \u201cWith an event like MLK Day, the Y is the perfect starting point.
