The special schedule was created to provide additional service for individuals leaving work early from Center City stations around noon, instead of the typical two-hour evening peak period.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nSEPTA\u2019s regular midday schedules are not designed to accommodate a rush hour crowd, and a<br \/>\nspecial schedule was developed to accommodate holiday travel plans.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Under the special schedule, SEPTA is shifting resources and rescheduling eight trains that<br \/>\nnormally operate during the peak evening rush (4:50 p.m. \u2013 6:03 p.m.) to operate earlier (12:24<br \/>\np.m. \u2013 12:40 p.m.). Since these trains will not operate at their regularly scheduled times,<br \/>\ncustomers, traveling during normal peak hours will have to take the next available train to<br \/>\ncomplete their trips home.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe special schedule is \u00a0available at<a href=\"http:\/\/www.septa.org\/schedules\/rail\/special\/pdf\/2015-12-\" target=\"_blank\"> http:\/\/www.septa.org\/schedules\/rail\/special\/pdf\/2015-12-<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.septa.org\/schedules\/rail\/special\/pdf\/2015-12-\" target=\"_blank\"> rrd-christmas-eve.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nAll Regional Rail trains will operate on a special schedule on Friday, December 25, 2015.
